Quality control IntroductionQuality
There is an independent department which responsabilities are guaranteeing and assure quality during production process:
- Raw Material checking
- Melting temperature record
- Degass specimens and proofs
- Moulding sand assays: humidity, compaction, calcination lost, active clay
- Customer requirements fullfit with internal technical sheet and control plans
- Expedition final checking
- 3D measure with 7 –axis electronic arm
It's also possible, under customer request, to make some other test on castings:
- Tensile test of specimen or final parts
- Xray digital radiogarphy
- Dye liquids tests
- Chemical composition with digital spectrometer
- Scan of prototype and comparison with customer machining 3D
For any other test or if external certification is required, we work with Azterlan, a external private laboratory, which is approved by the Basque Gobernment, and has the latest means to do detailed studies for foundries.
