1. OFFER AND AGREEMENT
At Cofundi we carry out very short deadlines from the time a request arrives to us until we present our detailed offer. We are always available to our customers for any kind of information exchange, and our objective is to offer the most competitive service in the market.
2. DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF TOOLING
The design and construction of the tooling, whether metallic or resin, is carried out in Cumetooling S.L, a partner company belonging to our business group and located a few minutes from Cofundi, having full confidence and communication in both ways. The Tools are made by professionals who have been dedicated to this sector for years, and work with materials of superior quality.
3. PRODUCTION
The production of aluminum castings at Cofundi is carried out with different methods depending on the use of metal or sand molds. Our goal is the maximum customer satisfaction, so we put at your disposal our resources and capacity to achieve the best results.
4. CUTTING AND REBASING
Once the production is done, it is necessary that the part is treated. First we cut the feeding channels and the riser, and eliminating all that excess matter. A refined process is then applied, perfecting the surface of the product obtained by gravity aluminium casting.
5. HEAT TREATMENT
The heat treatment facilities belongs to our finishing plant, which is one of the most appreciated finishes in aluminum casting. It allows to magnify the mechanical properties of an aluminum part through temperature shock, which is a very important property for some sectors.
6. SHOTBLASTING
Cofundi is characterized by having a complete finishing plant, offering all kinds of solution. Among other facilities are various blasters, both horizontal and vertical. Not only is the internal structure of aluminium castings important, but it is also necessary to take care of their exterior appearance.
7. QUALITY CONTROL
Our quality department has all kinds of instruments to be able to offer our customers of the aluminum foundry, a total guarantee of the product they are purchasing, also delivering the corresponding reports. As verification of this quality provided, Cofundi holds ISO 9001:2008, DNV and GBL certifications.
8. MECHANING
Cofundi can offer its customers, as a complement to aluminum casting, the machining of their parts. This is part of one of the finishing process. For this we have different machinery, among which are several machining centers, milling machines, grinder, etc. which allow us to offer a complete finish.
